Paul Vlasveld (rider)

Paul is a Furnace Creek 508 solo finisher (2005) and is coming fresh from his fourth Paris-Brest-Paris ride.. He is a member of the California Triple Crown Hall of Fame having riden over 63 double centuries.

Franz Kelsch (rider)

This is Franz's first attempt at the Furnace Creek 508. He ia California Triple Crown Winner and has completed other ultra distance events. His specialty is in climbing and has climbed over 100 vertical miles in 2007. He ran the Boston Marathon this year. He is the ACTC webmaster and also posts a blog at http://www.franzkelsch.com

Russ and Sheila Stevens (crew)

This is Russ and Sheila's' first time to crew for the Furnace Creek 508. Russ completed numerous ultra distance events this year including taking 5th place in the California Triple Crown Stage Race. Sheila is a California Triple Crown Winner and is headed to completing five double centuries this year.
